St. Andrew's Community Lunch
Humanitarian Emergency in N Portland
When funding from Multnomah County ended on August 31 for the St Johns Drop-In Center (in operation for only one year), we joined our unhoused community members in grief and worry. Our friends lost a place to be, a place to gather and keep track of each other, a place to be seen and known by caring staff, and a place to find resources. In response to the shuttering of the Drop-In Center, St Andrew’s has fast tracked our plans to welcome unhoused neighbors. Wednesday lunch has gone from bimonthly to every week, and we’ve prepared and opened a holy rest space that we’ve been dreaming about with our unhoused friends. If the County can’t provide safe, welcoming space for people living on the streets in N Portland, St Andrew’s will. We can use your help. Will you donate food, funds, or your time to help us create a place for dignity and belonging in North Portland?
EVERY Wednesday, 12-2pm at St. Andrew's

Mission
All Are Welcome.
An idea birthed from the hearts of Rev. Charlotte (Interfaith Minister & Street Chaplain) and Rev. Jennifer (Vicar at St. Andrew's), the Wednesday Lunches are St. Andrew's attempt at becoming a neighborhood ally to those experiencing homelessness, marginalization, poverty and social isolation. We believe that those experiencing extreme marginalization have a right to humanity-centered, community focused, empowering and uplifting emotional & spiritual support.
